Watching: more movies as I move down my entertainment to-do list. The Help is funny and moving - moved me to tears! The Perks of Being A Wallflower made me go “hmm”, I feel totally betrayed by the ending of Now You See Me (and goes against the basic principles of storytelling in my opinion), The Iron Lady was unimpressive and underwhelming, Warm Bodies was pretty sweet (but Nicholas Hoult’s eyes are too blue for my liking, sorry), Zombieland was pretty funny (but watching two zombie movies in a row is not a good idea), The Descendants was hilarious and moving, and The Hangover Part II was just alright. The new seasons of Pretty Little Liars and Suits have also started, so I’m following those. I also started on Homeland which is pretty damn exciting. Saul Berenson’s beard must be hiding a lot of secrets.
Listening: to new music including the OST of TFIOS, Lucy Hale’s new album (guilty pleasure) and Phillip Phillips’ new album.
Recovering: from my Vietnam trip. My souvenirs from Vietnam include a “watch line” on my wrist and peeling skin from my burnt neck. After 12 consecutive days of being around a group of friends 24/7, I did miss having company, but soon enough my laptop has become my best friend once again.
Reflecting: on my imminent graduation. Less than two weeks from today, in fact. I’m not ready! Even though the actual action of sitting in front of a computer and tapping away doesn’t start for another six months, the idea of dressing in black & white, dragging a court bag to court just irks me. I’ll just have to face up to that sooner or later.
