Whoa! Time is flying like crazaaaay. It is now November and I’ve been on exchange for 9 weeks now. The temperatures have been falling, the winds are getting stronger and the days are getting shorter. Fall is not all about leaves turning red/golden and then falling, it also means showers of rain that make you miserable and cold.
Reading: boring reports for my modules, as well as catching up on readings for Investment Law, which is more interesting and definitely more geared towards the type of readings I’m used to back home.
Cooking: simple Chinese dishes like bean sprouts with carrots and pork. Also trying to use up the stuff my parents brought for me.
Changing: my studying environment. Instead of being stuck at home all day, I’m hoping to be in school more. In September, I tried out the law library, which, as one would expect, is almost full. Probably also because it is in the main building of the university, so it is the most convenient. This week I have been frequenting the Science library, which is gloriously empty, but I must confess that the dryness in the air is really making me sleepy. But it is making me more productive, that’s for sure.
Watching: Person of Interest, Parks & Rec, and Pretty Little Liars. I have caved in a few times to watch a few episodes because sometimes studying is just too boring.
